1. The NON REFUNDABLE booking fee of R2000 is required to confirm your booking/date. This fee is included in the total price of the chosen package. The balance of the chosen package is to be paid to the photographer one week BEFORE the wedding day. (Please enquire with CanD B Photography for banking details)

2. The hours of each package run consecutively from the agreed upon starting time. Breaks in the timeline will be charged for, even if there is no shooting required.

3. Maximum time worked of any package is 23h59 on the day of the wedding. (Any shooting required between 24h00 and 8am will be billed at double the hourly rate of the package chosen).

4. Seating and a meal for one is required at the reception (upon request). Please make sure to arrange this with your reception/caterers before the time, so that they are also aware. Seating does not necessarily have to be amongst the guests, but close enough to the reception area so that I am able to see the proceedings of the reception.

5. Once deposit has been paid, a new R2000.00 change of date fine will be charged if the date is changed (provided I am not already booked for your new date.) This will then become your new date confirmation payment, and is added onto your package total payment (your first confirmation fee is thus forfeited). This may only be done up to six months or longer before the originally booked date. If I am not available for your new date, you will forfeit your original booking fee. Therefore, it is recommended that you contact CanD B photography before securing your new date to check availability. (For cancellations/postponements within six months of the date, please note terms below.)

6. Please note all package prices exclude any 3rd party finders-fees and/ or possible required referral commissions unless otherwise arranged beforehand between The Supplier and CanD B Photography.

7. Unless otherwise arranged, please allow the following approximate timelines for final delivery of images:
IVORY package – two to three weeks.
LILAC package – four to six weeks.
TOPAZ package – two to three months (usually closer to two, unless over festive season or when CanD B photography is fully booked).
EMERALD package – up to three month.


[(May take longer during December holidays, as CanD B Photography is closed for all shoots (except weddings.) Although every effort is made to get the photographs to clients sooner, workload often does not allow it, and I believe it taking the time required to provide a high quality standard of editing, rather than rushing the final results.)]

8. TRAVELING COSTS: First 50km free (both ways – total 100km) outside of Table View. Additional travelling costs can be estimated before confirmation of booking (provided the route from start to finish is available). Extra traveling will be calculated at roughly R25 per 8kms extra travelled.

9. When roads that are dangerous to travel on after dark, or wedding more than 100km from Table View are booked, suitable accommodation is required (depending on the time of the wedding and distance to venue etc). This can be discussed with CanD B Photography before the day of the wedding. Where necessary, reasonable, single-room accommodation is to be chosen by CanD B Photography, and paid for by client before wedding day – unless otherwise agreed upon with CanD B Photography).

10. Tollgate charges are not included in package quotes, and will be added to the final travelling cost invoice (sent after day of wedding).

11. NB! Brides that are more than a half hour later than the time agreed upon for arrival at the ceremony will be charged per half hour extra for the extra time /or the time will be deducted from the total time of the chosen package. (Unless there is a valid reason agreed upon by CanD B photography).

12. EMERALD package pre-shoots:
• are allocated 1 hour only. Please be punctual for the shoot, as there are often other clients booked directly after each other. Late arrival time will be deducted from the total time, and “no-shows”/cancellations less than 24 hours in advance will forfeit the free shoot.
• must be used by the couple ONLY on or before the wedding day, and may, under no circumstances, be “swopped” for time on the wedding day, or after.
• can be done (by appointment only) any time during the week before 6pm Tuesday-Thursdays, and on available weekend mornings at either 9am or 10am. Weekend slots get booked up ahead of time, so please be sure to call at least two months in advance to book. If there is no space to fit you in due to not arranging long enough in advance, the shoot will be forfeited, or need to take place at a time that CanD B Photography is available during the week.
• Where the weather is not suited (windy/ stormy /rain), the session will be postponed. When booking, make sure to book a backup date too, in case of postponement (this will be confirmed once the week’s weather is available before the booked session.)

13. Editing includes touching up and enhancing, but excludes general extra adjusting of actual figures / chins / shape of the bridal couple / fixing of straps or removal of unwanted sections (ie bra straps / unavoidable backgrounds etc). If extra editing is required, fees can be negotiated, according to the client’s requirements.

14. Estimated quotes can be given now for prices of all printing, coffee table/storybooks, according to current supplier’s prices; however, these are subject to change according to minimal supplier increases (cost price is offered for all printing, excluding any necessary delivery fees).

15. Second shooters are available on request at an additional price. Please note, these second shooters are in no way affiliated with CanD B Photography, and the arrangement of such shooters are merely a service offered to clients as a favour upon request. Final arrangements should be made directly between the selected second shooter, and the client.

16. Final high res images that will be received on USB must be collected from Table View/Parklands, Cape Town. Alternatively, a courier can be arranged if necessary, at the client’s own expense.

17. Please note that when confirming your booking with Candice of CanD B photography, it is as a primary shooter (Unless otherwise arranged). All other service providers that will be providing a similar service (shooters of drone footage/videographers/second photography shooters) must please all make contact with CanD B photography so that we can liase before the time about expectations and working with/around each other.

18. Although every possible precaution is taken with images and equipment, Candice of CanD B Photography, and her associates / assistants, will not be held responsible for data loss due to theft, technical (or other) failure whatsoever. In such a case, a negotiation will take place with the couple for a “re-shoot” of the post ceremony photographs (which will be done free of charge at an agreed upon location within 100km from Cape Town) to match as closely as possible to the photographs done on the actual day).

(Note from CanD B Photography: Rest assured, once files are downloaded after the wedding day, various backups are made of the image files on both “the cloud” and various different drives and devices in order to avoid accidental loss of any data).

19. NB! WEDDINGS CANCELLED/POSTPONED WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF THE CONFIRMED DATE ARE LIABLE FOR A R5000 CANCELLATION (EXCLUDING ANY BOOKING FEES ALREADY PAID).

20. WEDDINGS CANCELLED/POSTPONED WITHIN 3 MONTHS OF THE CONFIRMED DATE ARE LIABLE FOR A CANCELLATION FEE OF THE FULL PAYMENT OF THE LILAC (LOWEST FULL PACKAGE AVAILIBLE) OF R11 600, UNLESS CanD B Photography IS ABLE TO SECURE A NEW WEDDING BOOKING FOR THE SAME DATE (EXCLUDES IVORY PACKAGE BOOKINGS).

Please note, regarding “Acts of God” or covid-19 pandemic or any other government-issued regulations – should your wedding be postponed due to lockdown levels being implemented, no refunds will be issued. However, CanD B Photography will discuss postponement to new dates at no extra booking fee costs (provided CanD B photography is available for your selected new date).
